Getting Started & Visibility

Understand how to go from sign-up to a live, searchable profile in minutes.

How do I publish my Zamzi profile?

Create an account, pick a plan that fits (Starter is free, premium tiers unlock extra profile modules), and follow the guided onboarding form. You will capture your services, work history, service areas, pricing, and contact preferences before pressing publish.

Once live, your profile gets its own public URL that you can add to your CV, WhatsApp status, email signature, or social posts.

How do public search and discoverability work on Zamzi Connect?

Public profile search is powered by search-profiles. Visitors can filter by role, skill, suburb, and keywords, and we rank verified, detailed profiles higher.

Every profile page ships with structured data so Google understands the services you list, improving off-platform discovery as well.

What kind of platform is Zamzi Connect?

Zamzi Connect positions itself as a South African discoverability platform for businesses and professionals, not just a directory.

If you want the fuller category explanation, read our discoverability platform page.

What insights do I get after publishing?

  • Profile views, contact clicks, and booking interest summaries inside your dashboard.
  • Notifications whenever someone requests a callback or opens your contact form.
  • Optional export of audit events when you need to report traction to partners.

Plans, Billing & Upgrades

Choose the right tier and know exactly what you are paying for.

Which plans are available and what do they include?

  • Craving (Restaurants): R500/month or R5 000 once-off for a full year.
  • Zamzi Stay (Stay & Hospitality): R500/month or R5 000 once-off for a full year.
  • Fix-It Squad: R500/month or R5 000 once-off for a full year.
  • Shopaholic (Shopping & Retail): R500/month or R5 000 once-off for a full year.

These are the early-adopter prices and they are locked in for life once you sign up. Only the first 100 early adopters in each vertical get this rate — once a vertical reaches its 100-slot limit, its price moves to the standard rate.

Professional Services is also available at the same monthly/annual pricing. Free Starter access remains an option for new profiles.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or switch payment styles?

You can move between free and paid options, but switching between monthly subscription and once-off annual-style plans is currently a manual two-step flow.

In practice, you first cancel the monthly subscription in account settings so future billing stops at the end of your paid period, then you choose the once-off annual-style option from the correct plan page. Automatic proration between billing styles is not live yet.

If you are unsure which path fits, start on Starter or monthly, then move when you need more sections or a once-off payment style.

What is the difference between recommended demand and real inbound leads?

Recommended demand is algorithmic. It shows search-demand opportunities based on what people are searching for on Zamzi Connect and how well your profile matches that demand.

Real inbound leads are actual actions already taken on your public profile, such as profile inquiries, booking requests, or slide-in lead capture opt-ins.

We use real inbound lead performance as a feedback signal to strengthen the recommended demand algorithm, but we do not mix the two surfaces into one list because they represent different funnel stages.

How are payments processed?

We integrate directly with PayFast, so checkout happens in a secure South African gateway with card, EFT, or wallet support. Once payment clears, access is granted instantly and receipts are emailed from PayFast and Zamzi.

For corporate sponsorships we can issue manual invoices—just drop us a note via the contact form.

AI, Apps & Tools

See what automation is live today and what is rolling out next.

What AI assistance is available right now?

  • The Zamzi Assistant answers platform questions and can search public profile data for you.
  • ATS-friendly CV and template tools help you generate and export polished resumes without leaving the site.
  • Profile guidance callouts highlight missing sections or keyword opportunities as you edit.

What about Money Manager, Speak Easy, Interview Genie, and Vantage 5?

These apps are listed in the Resources hub and are currently marked "Coming Soon" while we finish the shared login experience.

Once each app is released, the button state and access flow will update automatically in your account.

Trust, Safety & Verification

Build confidence with verifiable identities and reliable uploads.

How does the Verification Centre work now?

The Verification Centre now handles multiple checks in one flow, including identity/document checks, profile-owner verification steps, and partner vetting checks where applicable.

You can track status per check inside the dashboard, see what is pending, and re-submit specific items if something fails validation.

For checks that require manual review by our team, results are synced back to your profile automatically and your trust/verification indicators update once requirements are met.

What happens if my upload fails or I am offline?

Captures are saved locally first. If your network drops we queue the photos in secure storage and retry when the connection returns, or fall back to a manual upload route.

You will see a toast confirming when an offline submission is retried, so nothing is lost even if you close the tab.

Support & Next Steps

Reach the right human or automation when you need help.

Where can I get help fast?

Start with the Zamzi Assistant or browse the guidance blocks in your dashboard. If you need a human, message us via the contact pageor reply to the last onboarding email—both routes land in the same support queue.

How do I request a new feature or integration?

We review roadmap requests weekly. Submit your idea through the feedback formand include context such as team size, industry, and urgency so we can prioritise accurately.

Product updates are rolled out in phases, and feedback submissions are linked directly to roadmap reviews.
